Product introduction

The LUOWAVE X820 is an 8-channel high-performance general-purpose software radio peripheral from Wuhan Luoguang Electronics Co., Ltd. Frequency coverage ranges from 75MHz to 6GHz, with a single channel bandwidth of up to 200MHz. The FPGA uses the resource-rich, user-programmable Xilinx MPSoC ZU11EG. Like all general-purpose software radio peripherals, the device supports popular open-source tooling processes, including software such as Ubuntu and GNU Radio.

Zynq ® UltraScale + ™ MPSoC devices provide 64-bit processor scalability while combining real-time control with hard and soft engines for graphics, video, waveform, and data packet processing. Based on general-purpose real-time processors and platforms with programmable logic, quad-application processors and GPU (EG) devices create endless possibilities for applications such as 5G wireless, next-generation ADAS, and the Industrial Internet of Things.

The LUOWAVE X820 is an ideal prototype for building a range of advanced research applications, including stand-alone 5G or 802.11 device simulation, development of media access control (MAC) algorithms, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, heterogeneous networks, 5G transmissions, RF compressed sampling, spectral remote sensing, cognitive radio, beamforming, and direction finding.
